Mama Bhagne
Near Dubrajpur town there is a hill named Mama Bhagne .A large number of large sized rocks are found in the area. Two remarkable pieces of these rocks were known as Mama and Bhagne (maternal uncle and nephew). Subsequently, the entire area came to be known as Mama Bhagne. Mama Bhagne pahar (hill) is now a picnic and tourist spot.
Bakreshwar
The word Bakreshwar comes from the name of Lord Shiva worshipped in the locality. Bakra (Vakra) means bent or curved. Ishwar means God. Mythologically it is said that in Satya Yuga during the marriage ceremony of Lakshmi and Narayan, Ashtavakra Muni (then known as Subrata Muni) was insulted by Indra. The muni was so enraged that he developed 8 cripples in his body (Ashtavakra Muni means a sage with 8 curved cripples, probably kyphoscoliotic). Ashtavakra Muni was blessed by lord Shiva here after many years of Tapashya (meditation). This place is also famous as one of the 51 Shakti Pithas where there is a temple dedicated to Adi Shakti. This is a major pilgrimage spot for Hindus.
Bakreshwar is also a place of geological interest with many hot springs. There are ten hot springs here. These are : Paphara ganga, Baitarini ganga, Khar kunda, Bhairav kunda, Agni kunda, Dudh kunda, Surya kunda, Shwet ganga, Brahma kunda, Amrita kunda.

Patharchapuri
Patharchapuri is famous for Dargah Sharif of the monument of Data Mehboob Shah Wali who is commonly known as Data Saheb. Though Patharchapri village is nearly 20 km away from Dubrajpur Town, but it is very famous Muslim pilgrimage Site. A Muslim saint named Shah Meheboob but commonly known as Data Saheb is said to have been gifted with miraculous powers and he used to cure dangerous diseases by applying ash. He died on 10 Choitro 1298 according to the Bengali calendar. A fair is held on 10–12 Choitro commemorating the death anniversary of Data Saheb. Lakhs of pilgrims assemble at Patharchapuri during the occasion. This fair is organised by the Mazar Maintenance Committee which was set up by then District Magistrate, J C Dutta in 1918. Maharaja of Bardhaman, Bijoychand Mahtab gifted this land in 1933.
Neel Nirjan
When traveling along the Panagarh–Morgram Highway one has to turn left a little after Dubrajpur for Bakreshwar Thermal Power Station and its reservoir named Neel Nirjan (meaning blue solitude). It is gaining in popularity as a tourist spot. The thermal power station is near Chinpai.
LOBA KALI MATA MANDIR
Loba is a Village in Dubrajpur Block in Birbhum District of West Bengal, India. It belongs to Burdwan Division. It is located 29 km towards South from District Head Quarters Suri, Birbhum. 11 km from Dubrajpur town, 188 km from State Capital Kolkata.
HETAMPUR
Hetampur is a large village in Suri Sadar subdivision of Birbhum District in the Indian state of West Bengal. It is situated near Dubrajpur. The village is famous for the Royal and historical palace.
At Hetampur Krishna Chandra College, popularly known as Hetampur Mahavidyalaya is one of the reputed and oldest college of the West Bengal. There are also few schools and training institutes such as Hetampur Raj High School, Hetampur Girls’ High School, St. Andrus, Hetampur Model School, DAV Public School, Rabindra Najrul Smrit B. Ed College, Hetampur Rajbati Primary Teachers Training Institute etc. The Rajbari was built in the shape of a castle with 999 doors which has given it the name Hetampur HajarDuari. (hajar is one thousand in Bengali, duari means doored). Hetampur Rajbari has been used by film directors such as Satyajit Ray, Mrinal Sen, Tarun Majumdar, Raja Sen, Dilip Roy, Sandip Ray and others in many Bengali films – Goopy Gyne Bagha Byne, Abhijan, Mrigaya, and Ganadebata.
Temples
Hetampur has many interesting terracotta temples in various styles of architecture. During the late 1940s till about 1952 Indian artist Mukul Dey conducted detailed photographic survey of Birbhum-Barddhaman group of terracotta temples. He visited Hetampur and photo recorded the Gol-Mandir, the Chandranath Shiva temple and the Dewanji temples here. Chandranatha Siva Mandir in Hetampur of Dubrajpur, Birbhum built in 1847 is Octagonal pinnacled – Naba Ratna type with terracotta on three sides. Dewanji Mandir nearby is tightly ridged Rekha type with small terracotta facade of 19th century Birbhum-Barddhaman style having rich terracotta on two sides. Out of these three temples, the Gol-Mandir temple is no longer in existence at Hetampur. Its memory survives only in the photographs by Mukul Dey.
